I aim to gain personal best times for my favourite 4 distances; 5km (21:56), 10km (46:55), half marathon (1:43:58), full marathon (3:56:22)...but come out smiling even if not :)
This year I completed around 250-300km according to Strava. I want to double that and complete 600km in 2019 and get a PR at the Edinburgh Half Marathon in May.

Began ‘running’ in Jan 2018 but it was very patchy and stop/start, never consistent. I struggle to find the time to get out and run (5 kids!) unless I have a reason to push me to do so. I need the motivation of a challenge and I want to be more consistent in my running in 2019. When I do manage to get out it helps with my anxiety and obviously fitness. So I have a couple of personal challenges for 2019. To run 500k over the year is my main one but also to start doing parkrun as often as I can. I have been too anxious to go so far but I really want to push myself.

Last year I would run 3/4 times 1 week then none at all for 2 weeks ??♀️
