    Nothing major to cheer about this week. Kieran hasn't been feeling to great for the father and son run, so have been flying solo. only managed to get out for two runs this week, although, I did post 5.15miles on Tuesday at 8:28 per mile pace and followed that with an 8.19mile run on Wednesday at exactly the same pace.
    Off camping with cub scouts from all across the UK from tomorrow until next Friday, so wont have anything to post next week, but back on it the following week before another break from running when I am at Butlins with the family for the week.

    Looks like I’m suffering from a groin injury so having to rest this week. Looking less likely I’ll meet this month’s 75 mile target. Hopefully, will manage 50 miles though.

    Wonder if Medal Mad will let me off this month if I manage to make up the missing miles by the end of the year! 😉

    Saturday 11th May took my back to Aviemore. Ran about 2 thirds with friends Claire and Susan but couldn't keep their pace and dropped back. Time of 29.31 which for that run is ok. That is Parkrun 11 for this year and 36 overall. Still o target. Missed Saturday 18th as was away for the weekend.

    Been a bit rubbish posting lately!
    Did Brighton marathon in April which went pretty well, then had an easy couple of weeks...... back on it now and after a 9k race today I’m up to 444 for the year..... hoping to be at 600 by the end of June, so...

    Snuck out of work on Tuesday for a cheeky 3.5 miles and then managed 8.1 on Wednesday morning despite being woken up at 5am. I didn't manage to get out at all on Friday as I was woken at 3am that day, so called into work sick to just have a chill...
    Snuck out of work on Tuesday for a cheeky 3.5 miles and then managed 8.1 on Wednesday morning despite being woken up at 5am. I didn't manage to get out at all on Friday as I was woken at 3am that day, so called into work sick to just have a chill out day. Took Kieran out for a 1 mile run on Saturday morning, just to ease him back in as he hasn't run for almost 3 weeks. He wanted to go further, until we got to about half a mile and he was struggling. I told him, I know what I'm doing son. you haven't run for a while, so first 1 or 2 runs you will find harder than they should be, but the fitness comes back even quicker than it dips. With this in mind, I'm aiming for a 2 tomorrow night then get him back on the 5ks.

    A Parkrun and a race/medal this week - a really nice one too, with the Anderton Boat Lift on it. No new places, but that's all going to change next weekend (I've already met that goal, but still)

    Imerys Half Marathon for me today, part of the Multi Terrain Series. 1st race after London & felt strong and loved it, even though off road is not usually my thing. My husband even ran it too! 30 miles in the bag this week. ‏ — feeling happy

    A nice run after bands workout yesterday....boy do i ache! Never knew i had some of the muscles i do until they hurt! My best pace too! Tried fadt and slow splits today to rest a bit. Good fun

    Two park runs in a row!! And it could be a Pb. I think I ran faster overall however I was then too knackered to sprint finish so we’ll see!
