I aim to complete 365 miles of running and/or walking in 2019, the equivalent of 1 mile for every day of the year. Why I have decided on this challenge? I work in healthcare and understand the importance of regular exercise for physical and mental wellbeing. Unfortunately, I spend at least 12 hours a day sat on my backside, doing my job and commuting an hour each way ☹️ So my challenge is to try and get myself moving more to help keep me fit and well ?

As I look 50 in the eye, its time for me to get serious about my health and fitness. I am challenging myself to lose at least 25 lbs, the ultimate goal is 125 but that will not likely happen in one year. I also challenge myself to exercise 4 times a week, and complete 4 "outside races", as well as being able to run more than walk them!

So, go! c’est parti mon kiki! Une semaine de marche à s’en faire mal aux pattes, voyons voir combien de kilomètres (ou mètres? Ahahah) ça va faire dimanche prochain!
