So to keep my promise I am going to start my training. It can only be a good thing as it should help lose the weight I have piled on since having a baby, moving house and Christmas ?????

So I need to run 3 times a week. I know I need to build my distance up so I can run 5km by November and I need to do hill training as the run in November is up a ruddy big one!!?

So from a non runner ... to someone who can finish an uphill 5km race (and keep up the running after so I can stay fit and well for all my family) I want to make my husband and my kids proud❣️
Time to put my trainer in and bite the bullet!!

I am a 68 year year old with severe arthritis. I try to do 5000 steps a day but week ends are my downfall. My challenge would be to maintain 5000 minimum Mon- Fri and 3000 at the weekend. I also would like to lose around 1 lb per week. I am really enjoying the challenges and since I got my fitbit am able to do Marathons around the world. Virtual ones of course.

I have struggled with my weight all of my life. I have had 2 strokes and now have vascular dementia. I did managed to loose 2 stone a few years ago, then BOOM, anxiety and depression came along and I piled the weight back on. I have decided that 2019 will be the year for me to lose weight and get fit and healthy. So 52 lbs in 52 weeks.... Bring it on.

I will volunteer each week until I am able to walk on my leg again.
Last year I completed my 50th parkrun. This was achieved over 14months from my very first parkrun. This year I aim to complete another 25, walking and running again once able.

It equates to just over 2.1 miles a day, 15.3 a week and 66.6 a month. I will do this as a mixture of walking and running, but will aim for atleast 400 miles of running :)

So if you hadn't guessed by my username I'm a little obsessed with ducks....I know I'm a little weird but for 2019 I want to push myself in 2016 i fat shamed myself online 2017 i lost a bit of weight 2018 i gain the weight back and some i lost my confidence i stopped working out I've lost my social life my free days are spent at home in my pj's so 2017 as the title says i will transform myself in all aspects only this time using this as motivation i will keep it up and keep going.

So the challenge to accomplished 1000km in 2019 (currently i barely walk 2km without being in pain)
To lose 4 stone (i join Slimming world the 2nd Jan)
To go back to the gym on a regular basis..

A little silly one get a makeover as crazy as it seems i haven't had my hair cut in nearly 4 yrs. I've been trimming the ends myself.
