After becoming unwell over 3 years ago and having to have major surgery. I went from being extremely active to inactive.... After becoming unwell over 3 years ago and having to have major surgery. I went from being extremely active to inactive. I have spent a long time being exercise free and gradually have became more and more unfit. This has also resulted in me piling on the pounds so for 2019 I want to make a change. I'm challenging myself to walk or run 1000 miles in a year (approximately 20 miles a week) and at the same time increase my fitness and hopefully lose some weight too (as part of Now that's what I call a challenge 2019). More

    So it's the first week of January and I've started my challenge with RED January. The past 2 days have consisted of walks so I'm easing myself in. First 5K (just over 3 miles) on Sunday! Ahh wish me luck 🍀
