    A good weeks running for me this week, 31.6 miles & I conquered a 12.5 mile coast path run within that as training for RAT 20 in August. Need to work a bit more on distance, strength & speed leading up to the big day. I’m finding the coastpath a challenge, but i will get there!

    Coast to Coast Half Marathon yesterday with my husband for this week, plus club runs, helping out with couch 2 5k, Trail Kids and some catch up miles. 37.2 altogether this week. Really enjoyed my running this week. I love running with all different people 😊

    Maintenance miles this week for me, no races. Highlight of the week was my daughter Kady getting her 25 mile award at Trail Kids on Sunday. Up to 609 miles so far this year and should be aiming to be on 750 at the end of June, so I may the first half of the year slightly behind, we will see πŸ€”. Running a Half Marathon race on Saturday with my husband from one coast to another. Will let you know how it goes. Happy running everyone 😊

    Completed 21 miles last week, a little bit under target but legs recovering from last week’s race. Got out on the coastpath for 8 miles as I start to prepare for the RAT 20 in August and did two runs with a friend working her way through the couch to 5k program and a club run. Need to start upping my miles again this week though, so I don’t get behind. 578 miles so far this year. 😊

    Imerys Half Marathon for me today, part of the Multi Terrain Series. 1st race after London & felt strong and loved it, even though off road is not usually my thing. My husband even ran it too! 30 miles in the bag this week. ‏ — feeling happy

    On a break away with my family this weekend, so just 3 miles in the sunshine this morning crammed in before brekkie and swimming. 16.5 miles in total this week, a lot less than I’m used to after all the marathon training, but my body needed some rest. Getting stuck back in next week and got a half marathon race next Sunday. Need to workout if I’m still on track for 1500 miles this year, will look into this when I’m back home in Tuesday😊 and make a plan to make sure I will make it πŸ‘

    Back to club run tonight after some shorter runs post marathon. 7.3 miles tonight in a big group with one monster hill! Feeling good after London. Miles on track for the year. Concentrating on two up and coming Half Marathons next and then who knows πŸ˜„

    Yay went to Club Night on Wednesday this week just to show off my medal and talk about London, but ended up doing a 6 mile recovery run & luckily legs feel much better for it. Got to keep them ticking over as have two half marathons coming up real soon. 😊

    Sorry late weekly post alert, only got back home today. I did it!!!!!! London Marathon, boom 4:53:11 a 16min marathon PB as well. One of the best days of my life. I had a absolute ball, smiled, laughed and cried my way round, such an emotional day an amazing event. I would love the opportunity again one day. Legs feeling it coming down the stairs, but apart from that I’m all good and eyeing up the next challenge πŸ‘ŠπŸ…πŸ˜β­οΈπŸŒˆ

    Completed my last Sunday run yesterday, before London Marathon. Just a local 10k in the sunshine. Lower mileage last week due to being on a taper, but still on target for my 1500 this year. A few 5ks this week before making the journey from Cornwall to London on Friday πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

    Last double figures run before London this morning with a fellow club member also running London. Enjoyed it today, lots of London chit chat, 14 miles on the Portreath trail. Then straight to the cafe for coffee to warm up, it was cold, wet & windy. 35 miles in total this week. Feeling ready now 😊 x

    I’ve finally hit the magic taper before the London Marathon. 39 miles completed last week. Did 15 miles on my favourite stretch in Penzance yesterday. Day off today as it’s my birthday. Hopefully my legs will recover enough in the taper for the big day. Mega excited now, hoping to stay injury free 😬 ‏ — feeling happy

    Hey this is my weekly post towards my challenge, finally in the right place I hope! as I have been posting nearly all my posts on my profile page instead, sorry. Last week was a good week of running for me, finished off with a Mothers Day 15 miler at Helston with some club members yesterday. Total miles for the week 36. One more week of long runs and high miles this week and I will have made it to the taper before London. Sports massage for me tomorrow. Total miles for the year so far 378. ‏ — feeling happy

    Granite Way 20 miler today in Okehampton. Went up with Kat from club. Well chuffed to bag 3 31 a 25 min PB from Duchy 20 a few weeks ago. Also 35.6 miles in total this week ‏ — feeling happy

    14 mile training run today, running in Penzance one of my favourite places to run. Cut back week on my training plan. 28.4 miles in total this week. 6 weeks today I will be running London Marathon, eek. Fingers crossed my training will be enough 🀞🀞

    Sorry a day late post 😩, but a good week of running, cough still lingering but feeling much better. Got 31 miles in altogether with 17 on a long run yesterday. Started week 10 of my London training today with a 5 mile recovery run & miles for the year are just about on target πŸ‘ ‏ — feeling happy

    Funny old week, but came up trumps in the end 😊. Ran 5 miles on Monday and then spent the rest of the week in bed with flu πŸ₯΄, but I had a 20 mile race booked for Sunday 😬. Decided to try it as a slow training run and yep I got round, result. Ended up with 26.7 miles for this week, a bit short, but I’m well happy with that 😊

    Really pleased to get 15 miles in today for my long run this week. My furthest so far on my plan. Out on the trail at Truro with lots of hills & had some lovely club ladies for company. Managed 32.3 miles this week. Building up nicely 😊 ‏ — feeling great
