And so it begins...

My mother has been on my case to get moving for a long time now. During a recent conversation, she mentioned a 5 Km challenge that I had completed and how chuffed I was with myself.

"But I got a (virtual) medal for that!" was my protest. I really thought that when she realised that I won't do anything without reward, she would drop the issue.

"Then find another challenge with another medal!"

So, here I am, at the start of a 200-mile coffee run challenge. It cost me a pretty penny to register for it, considering that I live in South Africa, but then that may just as well be the boost that I need to complete it! That, and lots of coffee!
