What is a virtual challenge?
A virtual challenge gives your activity a goal. Build up the distance or complete the target wherever you are, record eligible activities in the MedalMad app and follow your progress towards the finish. For this medal challenge, your reward is the medal shown in the product details.
Can I walk instead of run?
Yes. MedalMad challenges support a range of activities, including walking, running, cycling, swimming and wheelchair or adaptive rolling. Some also accept time-based workouts. Check this challenge’s activity and conversion rules, then choose a way to move that suits you.
How do I track my activity?
Use the current MedalMad app for iOS or Android. Connect Strava for eligible synced activities, use the app’s GPS tracker or add supported distance and time activities manually. You can use readings from another watch or app for manual entry; that does not mean every device has a direct MedalMad integration.
How long do I have to complete my challenge?
The activation and completion window are shown in this product’s details and in the app. You can usually build up your target over multiple eligible activities. Check your challenge’s dates and remaining time before planning your sessions.
When is my medal sent, and where do you ship?
Your medal is prepared for dispatch after completion, subject to any product release date and the shipping option selected at checkout. With a single shipment, the order is sent when all its challenges are complete. With multiple shipments, challenge medals are sent as you complete them. Eligible outdoor runs, walks and hikes must have valid GPS, cover at least 0.5 miles and be recorded after you join a live MedalMad challenge using Strava or the MedalMad app tracker. Manual and time-based entries do not count towards zones. See the app for the full competition rules.
