Syncing With Strava
Strava sync allows eligible Strava activities to be added to MedalMad challenges.
There are two parts:
- Connect Strava to your MedalMad account.
- Enable Strava sync for the challenge you want.
Connecting Strava
Go to:
Sync → Strava → Connect
The app opens Strava in your browser.
Approve the connection in Strava, then return to the MedalMad app and tap Refresh.
Enabling Strava for a challenge
After Strava is connected:
- Open the challenge.
- Go to Challenge Activity.
- Tap Sync.
- Find Strava.
- Turn sync On for that challenge.
Strava activities will only be added to eligible challenges where sync is enabled.
Running a Strava sync
In the Sync tab, use the Strava sync option to check for recent activities.
The app may show how many activities were fetched, imported or added to enabled challenges.
Why a Strava activity may not appear
A Strava activity may not be added if:
- Strava is not connected.
- Sync is not enabled for that challenge.
- The activity is outside the challenge dates.
- The activity is already synced.
- The challenge is complete.
- The challenge has expired.
- The activity is not eligible for import.
- The app could not refresh the Strava connection.
Disconnecting Strava
Go to Sync, find Strava and choose the disconnect option.
Disconnecting Strava also disables challenge sync for that provider.
