      It is World Mental Health Day today. This day observed on October 10th each year, aims to raise awareness about mental health issues and promote efforts to improve mental well-being globally.

      This year’s theme set by the World Federation of Mental Health is workplace mental health. Here are some ways to help healthy mental health at work.

      Take regular breaks: Stepping away from your workspace for short breaks helps reduce stress and improves focus, allowing time to recharge.

      Practice time management: Prioritising tasks and setting realistic goals can reduce feelings of being overwhelmed and enhance productivity.

      Stay connected: Building supportive relationships with colleagues can provide emotional support and reduce isolation.

      Set boundaries: Establishing clear work-life boundaries, like logging off at a set time, helps prevent burnout and maintains a healthy balance.

      Practice mindfulness: Incorporating mindfulness exercises, such as deep breathing or meditation, can help manage stress and promote mental clarity.
