Just over a year ago we were in a massive car accident. My wife and kids were fine, I “only” had soft tissue injuries but I’m still recovering from them. Between my injuries, my EDS and my POTS When I started physical therapy after the crash I couldn’t walk more than 5 minutes really, really slowly without nearly a week long POTS crash afterwards leaving me barely able to function. A year of physical rehab and really working hard at it? I can do this, and still function afterwards now. I know a mile in 20 minutes isn’t a big deal to a lot of people, but it’s a HUGE deal for me.
