Officially started my first ever MedalMad event.
Over the past few years I’ve put on a lot of weight and it’s got to the point it’s affecting my mobility, my moods and basically my entire life.
Clothes don’t fit me, I have no energy to play with my (nearly 4 year old) son. I’m out of breath walking up the stairs and hate the way I look. I’ve tried in the past but it just comes back on.
It’s time for change and I need to stick at it, so I’ve decided to join MedalMad to help me get into a routine and positively make a difference. I plan to start doing a Medal a month with an increase in distance each time. Let’s get going! Plan to lose 6 stone. Will post updates as time goes on! 🙂

I’m in same boat, just going one day at a time and just keep going. Good luck on your mission x
Good luck with your goals. Just remember there will be ups and downs along the way, stick at it and you will do it.
Im also in the same boat. I feel unhealthy. My dad had a stroke and has since passed away. It really gave me a wakeup call. Watching what he went through made me realise i needful make some changes for a healthy lifestyle. I’ve lost my mojo lately but I’m doing little and often, every little helps as tesco say. Good luck on your new journey x
Thank you all for your support x
The hardest part is starting and you’ve already achieved it, well done and good luck for your challenge.
I was in the same boat in May and found MedalMad a great way to motivate myself as I hate to fail at a tangible challenge. I hope it works as well for you as it has for me.
I’m on a similar journey due to health conplications. So far a medal a month is keeping me motivated. I just bought a walking pad for the wet days. Best of luck on your journey!
Good luck! 👏🏻
Welcome and best of luck!
