I realize this is miniscule, but I’ve never been one to workout, and certainly not run. I’ve recently lost 63.8 lbs (4.557 stones), and today, I ran .25 miles without stopping or slowing down. And, I could talk and breathe after and didn’t think I might be near death. It’s not a lot but for me it’s everything! It’s a testament to how much my daily walking which is averaging 1 mile a day (4 days a week I walk 7500-10k average steps at work that I’m not counting at all) and how it is really making a difference towards my health. I’m super thrilled to recognize I wasn’t just doing it because I was stubborn and it was excruciating to get through but I was actually DOING IT and finding it easy. I’m honestly so proud of myself I cried. 😭 (I just realized I have a grammatically awkward sentence in there but it isn’t letting me go back to fix it…. sorry! 🙈)
