Finished the D-Day Challenge 🥳🥳 This medal started as a fun way to retrace a childhood holiday but turned into a test of endurance! New time records were set while under excruciating pain which ended in emergency gallbladder surgery! The final 4km were a lesson in humility!😅 Sometimes we need to slow down to start again. Recovery is a learning curve. I’ve the next 2 medals ordered, so it’s one step at a time back to health 🩷
