Every step is a step in history as you take on this virtual challenge. Unlock milestones as you make your way, virtually, to the historical and stunning landmark of Machu Picchu. Choose from 26.2 miles or 250 miles. Each medal comes with an attached distance pin.

The Challenge

The Inca Trail: A virtual fitness journey of motivation and intrigue. Move through 12 epic milestones inspired by famous landmark. Walk, run, or ride at your own pace. Every step is a step in your history.

Virtual Challenge: This is a virtual challenge, allowing you to participate from anywhere in the world! All you need is your favourite activity tracker or app to log your miles. If you use Strava you can connect this to your challenges.

Run, Walk, Cycle, Row, Swim, Move, Step or Roll: Whether you prefer running like the wind, walking through picturesque trails, cycling with the freedom of the breeze, rowing across virtual waters, or even rolling with joy, the choice is yours!

You can also use Time Based activities such as dance, pilates or gardening and convert these activities in our app.

Flexible Timeline: Start your challenge up to 3 months after you sign up and have the full challenge duration. After three months your challenge duration will start. So set your own timeframe and off you go!

For All Ages: Whether you’re a seasoned runner, weekend walker, or a family ready to begin some fun activities together, the Inca Trail Virtual Challenge is built for everybody. With options for all fitness levels, it’s the perfect way to turn movement into motivation. Fuel healthy habits, chase your goals, and make powerful memories along the way — solo or side by side with friends and family. 

As you progress through the challenge, you’ll unlock 12 historical milestones. each one a glimpse of the landscape, the history and the culture.

To unlock a milestone you need to have past it in the map. Then in the milestone go through all the pages until you see the complete button. Press this and the milestone turns gold and unlocks the next one, once you have passed it.

Track your Progress

You can track all your activity in miles, KM’s or steps directly in our mobile iOS and Android apps or using the website, so if you do not want another app, no problem.

You can enter an activity into the app either by manually entering its distance or by syncing your activities from Strava, and choosing which ones to add.
